TYPEBEA: Damage Repair Campaign

Service

Creative Production

TYPEBEA partnered with TCA to launch the Damage Repair range, a clinically backed system created to restore hair that has undergone heat, colour, and chemical treatments.

You broke it? We fix it. The brief was to build a campaign that communicated repair in a way that felt modern, stylish, and rooted in real results. The goal was to introduce the range as the go to solution for hair showing signs of stress, wear, and breakage.

The campaign focused on the visible transformation of damaged hair through a simple message. The fix starts here. The shoot balanced clean, minimal styling with bold beauty moments, showing texture, shine, and movement. Stills and motion were captured within one studio setup to keep the visual language consistent across formats. Product shots, model transformations, and hero product interactions shaped the narrative, with a focus on smoothness, strength, and restored gloss.

The final campaign positioned TYPEBEA Repair as a credible, results driven system. The content highlighted the routine as a simple, science backed fix for hair that has been through heat styling, bleaching, or chemical processes. With hero videos, cutdowns, and a suite of stills for digital, social, and retail, the range launched with a clear and confident story about restoring hair health. The visuals reinforced TYPBEA’s message. Repair is not complicated. It starts with the right system.

Approach

TCA shaped the creative direction and production to present the Damage Repair range with a clear, elevated visual story. The motion treatment included a vintage infomercial lock up in landscape and portrait that supported the Call 1800 Repair concept. This gave the hero film a strong branded identity while keeping the tone playful and recognisable.

The campaign introduced two key consumer concerns. Heat damaged hair and bleached hair. Each concern was expressed through conceptual set design that reflected texture, colour, and the real signs of damage. We then introduced the Typebea Repair Woman as the guide through the repair journey. Her scenes featured a stylised Repair Toolkit that helped explain the system in a simple and confident way.

Set design, props, and wardrobe styling were planned in detail to support the story. Every scene included colour matched items, curated tools, and intentional styling choices that reinforced the premium position of the range. Stills and motion were captured within the same controlled space to keep the visual language consistent across every format. The final delivery presented a complete world for Typebea Repair. Clear, modern, and built around transformation.

How good does it look!! A HUGE Thank you to the team for pulling this off. Elly Jean-Louis, Global Marketing Director
